A Millennial in Wonderland

Rachel Shubin lives in Cape May, New Jersey, where she works as a freelance writer for several publications, including the Cape May Star & Wave Newspaper, Ocean City Sentinel, Cape May Magazine, and Pet Product News International. Rachel provides social media management for various clients. Rachel is the Public Information Officer for the Borough of West Cape May.

Rachel’s previous work experience includes writing for LifeSavvy Media, Beachcombing Magazine (formerly Glassing Magazine), Cape May County Herald Newspaper, and two years of social media management for Antoinettes Apartments & Suites, and two years of front desk experience from working at the Victorian Motel in Cape May.

Rachel graduated from George Mason University with a B.A. in communication and a concentration in journalism. She wrote for IV Estate, George Mason University’s student newspaper.

Rachel’s passion projects include Piper and Pearl Co. polymer clay jewelry. She previously kept a blog called Sandpiper Cat Blog. Rachel is an associate member of the Cat Writers’ Association.
