Maddie Peterson is an 18-year-old surfer from New Jersey who started her pro-surfing career in Wildwood. She’s a rising star in the surfing world, having been recently ranked 18th in the HOT 100 women, the definitive ranking of the world’s best young surfers.
Maddie is finishing online high school classes and getting ready to start online college classes so that she can continue her surfing career. Her talent on the board has led her out of the cold New Jersey waters and into training in Costa Rica. I love what Maddie’s doing because she’s empowering young women to take a leap and go for their dreams. I Have Cat blogger Tamar Arslanian is definitely what you would call a cat lover, and recently she was featured in the May issue of Good Housekeeping for being just that. Tamar has designed her NYC apartment to be cat-friendly, while also appealing to the modern aesthetic she wants.
“I was honored to be asked to be in the May issue of Good Housekeeping to talk about how I redecorated my home to make it cat-friendly. If there’s one thing I hope cat parents can take away, is that it’s possible to have a home that both reflects their aesthetic and that take’s their fur kid’s needs into consideration as well!” Tamar said. Truly an inspiration to us all.
